About MiniMagnify
MiniMagnify is a small, focused product: resize and crop images in your browser so they fit social posts, wallpapers, and common screens, without uploading your originals to us for processing. We care about a layout that reads clearly on phones and laptops, honest language about what happens to your data, and presets that save you from hunting down dimension tables every time you export.
Who we are
The MiniMagnify site and editor are run as a standalone product. When we say “we” on this site, we mean the people maintaining MiniMagnify for users who want a privacy-first, browser-based alternative to upload-to-server converters. We are not asking you to trust us with your originals: the core resize path is designed to stay on your device. Business or press questions can go to the same channel as everyone else: support@minimagnify.com.
Why we built it
Most people do not need a heavyweight desktop suite just to hit “1080×1920 for a story” or “3440×1440 for an ultrawide wallpaper.” They need a high-quality image resizer that gets out of the way. At the same time, sending personal or client photos through random “free converter” sites is a poor tradeoff when those services may store files on a server you do not control.
MiniMagnify is built around local processing: after the page loads, the heavy lifting runs on your device. That choice favors privacy and keeps the interaction snappy for single-image workflows. We still use normal web building blocks (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) and may show ads or optional paid tiers over time so the project can stay maintained; see Pricing for how we describe that.
What you can do today
- Pick from hundreds of presets for social networks, phones, and displays.
- Crop and zoom before export so the subject lands where you want it.
- Export to JPEG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF when your browser supports the encoder.
- Adjust quality where it applies to balance file size and visual clarity.
Roadmap (high level)
We intend to keep the core resize path free and fast. Longer term we may add optional Pro capabilities (such as batch workflows or an ad-free experience), described on the pricing page when they ship. The site will stay static-first and transparent about what runs locally versus what third-party services (like ads) may load.
